I am 30 years old and am in college for the first time. I am interested in vocal music and theater, but I have never taken any kind of music or theater in my life. Am I to old to start this now? How will I be recieved? Will the instructor want to take on someone with absolutely no training? I need advice.

I think he wrote a lot of very popular light music songs around the 1930's to 1950's but there is no information about his life anywhere that I can find on the internet. Many thanks.

Many people want to escape from their cubicle-style careers and make a living in performing arts, whether it's acting or music or dance. But when you are old, serious schools refuse to admit you and schools that do admit are not usually serious. Is there a chance for a late-comer to make a name-and a living-out of performing arts? Please give examples. Peace out, love y'all.

Does anyone know if there has been a piano version of "Dueling Banjos" written? If so, who publishes it? I have a student who really wants to play this as a piano duet with me. I told him I would try to find out if it exists for piano.
