I think being a set designer for plays or movies would be interesting. I just don't know what I'd have to take to make a career out of it. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I am going to a solo and ensemble competition on the 10th when I am to preform a solo on my trombone and I have the worst case of stage fright ever. Even before I get to whever I have to play by myself I start to get nervous, my heart begins to race and then I begin shaking to the point where my tone completely goes away. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get over this fear of playing by myself by the 10th? I know I can play the music well but most of the time, even when I can play the music perfect, my stage fright still kicks in.

Any suggestions are welcome. :) Thank you!

Hey my name is paula and I'm 18 years old. And Well I've just started to take voice lessons. In fact i have one tonight. My voice teacher wants me to sing a High B. I could sing a High G. Is there any way to increase my range so I would be able to sing that high. I think it has something to do with scales, and I know that it will take a lot of work out of my part to sing that high. Thanks for all the help and I would apperiate any suggestion or tip. Thank you!

Paula

I need two classical pieces for a college audition: one in a language other than English. My classical experience isn't extremely broad, but my musicianship and theory is beyond most students. I am a high tenor, and would like to show off my upper range. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

In Japanese songs I have heard this really very pretty instrument playing. It sounds kind of like a violin but very high pitched. You will here it a lot in Oriental restaurants, but I can never find out what it is.
Help?

I am a Lighting Designer at the University of Southern Indiana. We are putting together a student design project. For a play we are doing the Director is trying to do this Black and white change from a color scene in no more than 15 seconds. I have stated to her tha I didn't think that this was possiable to do with out budget restraints, But I was hoping someone out there would know how to get this feature accoplished by just using some simple lighting technique that isn't commonly known.

Thank you to all that respond
