Here i sit in my cage
no one can hear my silent rage
Seed to my left,water to my right
never seeing the suns radiant light
My master comes so i whistle a tune
but then he goes, far to soon
When he leaves he outs the light
but i look foreward to the lonley night
I dream of flying over a grassy plain
then up into a cloud of rain
I dream of flying over the emrald sea
i see my kin and they sing with glee
I soar higher up into the sky
a sight so beutiful i begin to cry
But then my master comes to my side
so i must end my joyous ride
So hear i sit in my cage
no one can hear my silent rage

The Professor

His body dances in the sunlight
While his heart remains hidden in the shadows
He preaches freely of emotion
While never allowing the sermon to penetrate his surface.
He sails calmly through life using knowledge as his weapon;
Experience as his shield.
He fights away the enemy called Desire with intelligence;
Longing with awareness; Love with resistance.
He remains guarded behind his cloak of wisdom
(Ah, for he who knows is not required to feel...)
***
We, the unknowing pupils watch him.
Some with contempt and frustration;
Some with longing and desire;
Some with tenderness and affection;
Some merely in awe.
Condescendingly, we embrace that which we do not understand
(Intent upon bringing him over into our world)
We pull, we tug, we bend, we shape and mold...
But to no avail.

For he is the professor.
We are merely students.

Scolded by defeat, we file back into our appointed places
And let the instruction continue...

Aim/Goal of Living

The unique aim of being human

Is dealing with you and others,

No matter what “True Man”

Says to me and you in our shutters.

No matter which words “True Man” giving

Me and you being in our shutters.

Damaged

self mutilating
sucidal thoughts
nightmares
and flashbacks
why wont this shiit fuking stop
how could you do this to me
I just want to break free
all the pain
bruises
blood
Every hit i would take
& not say a word
you beat me for all these years
i cried so many tears
you unleashed my worst fears
you would just leave me there
you didnt even fuking care
alone
scared
sore
My cold blood dripping from my wounds
I will not take this anymore.

I'm in my early teens with a sort of tendency to use poetry in writing whenever I can. How does this sound? Do you think it willl work?

I'm not good with words,
so I thought I should write.
A feeling inside me;
my guiding light.

So, I'm not much a poet,
but less I'm a speech.
And my woords tell a story,
that talk cannot reach.

To get to my point,
I ask you this.
Youj know where it's going,
but not where it is.

Would you like to go out
sometime in the near?
All I want is an answer,
just something to hear.

So just grant me this,
whether a yes or a no.
All I'd like is an answer,
It won't get me down low.

I like the way he laughs. Whenever he does laugh, it sends a shiver down my spine, and makes me think about him for a good fifteen minutes. I like the way his Adam’s apple is so pronounced, and the way it bobs up and down with his laughter. I like the way he lets rude comments roll off his back, like rain washing down the street, or tears rolling down a cheek. I love his smartness, the way that he doesn't care what people think if knows all the right answers, and even when he does get an answer wrong, he laughs at himself. I love how deep his voice is, like dark chocolate. Dark, rich, and very smooth. His voice enraptures you, enfolds you in warmth, and feels like rain drumming down your body. I love his eyes, dark brown, questioning, looking like two burning pieces of coal. I love the way they glisten in the light as he looks up at the heavens. To reduce that down, I love him.

I don't need you to tell me "do something you care about or can relate to".
I just need you to think of as many topics you can think of.
Like computers or squirrels but i need better ideas than that.

Include in your consideration all popular and historical art forms, examples being music, literature, visual art, dance, etc. Feel free to add to or subtract from anything in that list. Also, please try to be as objective as possible. I know, as does everyone else in the world that art is inherently subjective, but obviously art differs in quality. What should the criterion be when judging art? Please be as elaborate or as succinct as you wish.

I have recieved a notebook for diary. I loved it and am looking for some products made by the company and I want to know which it is.
Unforfunately the only clue I've got is this logo printed on the back.

the picture is here:
http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k274/k...

It is a B and R mark (i think) and the first letter B is flipped 180 degrees.

I really appreciate your help, thanks.

Lets hear some opinions on this one?

I've been looking for a job recently, and the best I think I might be able to get is as a model for drawing classes in my school's art department (It's really high paying, doesn't require a car and has flexible hours). I was wondering if anybody here has done that before. I'm curious as to whether it's really awkward, comfortable or what exactly. I'm not really shy or anything, but I've also never been nude in front of a group of people before. It's gotta be weird just walking around and running into artists who've drawn you naked, no?

I don't know anyone who's tried this, so I'm not sure who else to ask, hehe.

Why do people feel obligated to thumbs up or thumbs down an answer that is an opinion? Now, if its a factual based question and answer, and someone gets the facts completely wrong, I can sort of understand...but an opinion?
How do you feel about it?
