Does this sound good?

Question

I'm in my early teens with a sort of tendency to use poetry in writing whenever I can. How does this sound? Do you think it willl work?

I'm not good with words,
so I thought I should write.
A feeling inside me;
my guiding light.

So, I'm not much a poet,
but less I'm a speech.
And my woords tell a story,
that talk cannot reach.

To get to my point,
I ask you this.
Youj know where it's going,
but not where it is.

Would you like to go out
sometime in the near?
All I want is an answer,
just something to hear.

So just grant me this,
whether a yes or a no.
All I'd like is an answer,
It won't get me down low.

I would leave the poetry to people who really know how, and thus far, no one on Yahoo can do it. Your little peers will tell you this is great stuff because of course, they haven't a clue as to what real poetry is all about and they come here to have their egos stroked, and then become angry when someone tells them their poem isn't very good. Just ask her out and forget trying to be Shakespear. She might just think this is silly. Just ask her out. Period.

it sounds really good...you are a very good poet..keep it up..!! but the only thing which i would like to mention is your repetitive use of word ANSWER in both second last and last stanza..try to modify that a bit...otherwise your poem is very sweet and innocent just like you seem to me....
