I don't know if it's considered a lyrical poem, but
'The Road Not Taken' by Robert Frost is rife with meaning to me. And would absolutely elicit a deep response. That poem is quite short.

Nothing Gold Can Stay, by Robert Frost

Nature's first green is gold
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

I had to memorize it in 5th grade.
