These days anything can be art. A swirl of colors on a styrofoam plate can be art. Some guy screaming words about killing people can be art. A steamy romance novel with every other page involving a dozen grammar errors and at least one sex scene is art...

What do you consider art and where do you draw the line between art and modern crap?

I have written a short story/novel that is in need of a title. It's set around 1870. A seventeen year old white man dreams of being a teacher, and is granted his wish to hold a temporary teaching job in a ***** village. (Remember this is shortly after the Emmancipation Proclamation). At this village, he deals with racism from both sides: a ***** man who does not want him in the village, and a small group of whites who cause trouble for the village and anyone who tries to help or befriend them. I am not good at coming up with story titles, so if anyone has any ideas, I'd like to hear them. Additional story details:
Name of village: Freedom
Name of teacher: Daniel

I can't figuire what the name of a museum is that I seen on Ripleys Believe it ot not a few years ago. It has humans filled with wax & they look dead & alive all at once. It's in Europe somewhere I believe. But it's scientific I think too. Any ideas about any museums with human artifacts & abnormalities? I always wanted to visit a museum like that but I don't know the names of any or where to search for them...
