Most issues when touches on History, R and S, Politic, they are always divided into at least 2 groups or more and everyone would start answering and backing up with sources from google, books, news channel etc. Now, my questions is how reliable are those sources? At times we have a situation that both parties have sources to back their answers : For example, like history..some countries even amend their history to avoid further shame befall into that nation but the people from that nation would argue that theirs is tue history. Or Israel and Palestine feud? Etc and etc...Have anyone doubted this before?

And I am not sure this Q is under which category...

What do you all think? That's my impression. I know that people who made a difference made an impression, and were influential because they were genuine, convinced, and had a better plan, and spoke out.

But it seems to me that the most successful were flexible and allowed for the differences of others, and if not, their ideas weren't popular enough to survive them. Maybe I'm being an optimist. Is it better to be flexible and practical, or rigid and intolerant?

within many of the middle eastern/arab nations..slavery was a part of the culture for more than 2000 years....
with the beginning of islam..in order for the arabs to spread their empire further they mixed and intermarried with the established european empires that existed (byzantine...etc)..and spread themselves as far north as the slavic regions..this includes the levant as well...

slavery wasnt economically based....many of the early slaves (the europeans) were not in fact slaves..they intermarried with these women in order to take control of the region..

the africans on the other hand were used as domestic labor...this is a practice that continued in saudi arabia until the late 1960s..
my question is..within the arab world africans were traditionally in a position of servitude..however there was a huge transition..from using african slave labor to domestic servants from indonesia and many southeast asian countries...why did this happen?

I've seen people on here saying that they found Nefertiti's mummy in the 1800s. Then why do they never say that on tv shows. They always say that she can never be postively identified. I've also seen someone claim they knew her heratage but I've read elsewhere that they don't really know exactly where she came from. What's with all the disagreement?
