I would look at the official website of the Royal family or Wikipedia.

However, if you are the reading, studious type, I would highly recommend picking up one of the books in Simon Schama's "History of Britain" series. There are three books in all and that can be pricey so I would suggest checking them out at your local library.

Simon Schama is a British born historian who teaches at Columbia University. You can also find his series on the History Channel too. See if you can find it on DVD.
