Zinn focouses less on American history, and more on writing a scandal sheet about the evils of America. I was asked to read it in college, got half way through and was so disgusted I told the professor the book was worthless and stopped reading it.

I only wonder why Zinn still lives in America if it's as evil as he makes it seem.

Howard Zinn is a political writer with a decided distaste for America and its history. Schweikart also has a perspective but at least he tries to stay with the facts.
