we were having a discussion on imperialism in my social studies class and my teacher was talking about reasons. one of the reasons was missionary work. and she mentioned how different sects of christianity did missionary work. i thoug it was funny because she said mission sects. does that sound funny to you too?

I know the Roman salute was used in WW2 by the Nazi's but I have been unable to find pictures or descriptions of what was used prior to that. Was it the same or was it similar to British or American military salutes?

I have a MASSIVE project due in 2 months, and my partner and I have asked some students and teachers to write down questions about the Vietnam War. Why did he not say, I dream of a time when people are given token positions and when quotas would be enforced.

Is a quota system really what he envisioned? I mean, sure as a means for an end, for aq short time i can see quotas applied in some areas to get the ball rolling.

I mean, essentially he seemed to say in my mind, a time, when the past would be a curiousity. For this to truly come true, people who have to be judged on what they do, not their genes?

When I was in the 9th grade I had watched a movie about how the Cubans had weapons that could destroy the U.S at any moment. During that movie I had remembered that they had mentioned that the mayor of Chicago Richard J. Daley was somehow associated with gangs/mobsters. please respond with more then "the knight" or "samurai," I want to know your reason why. Also, they start out on top of a horse, your choice of armour (keep it realistic though). Terrain would be a flat plain, and one on one combat as well as 100 on 100 combat.
