I'm putting together a small D-Day diorama and was curious if it would be historically accurate to mix a British paratrooper or two into the group of 82 & 101 soldiers.

What great historical event would you like to see on the bigscreen?
Lately there has been a flood of historical epics coming out of Hollywood, many of them bad, I know. But what great historical event would you like to see given the big epic-movie treatment. Just for purposes of this question, let's say it would be a top quality film and also historically accurate.

Personally, I'd love to see the Conquest of Mexico come to the bigscreen. What about you?

I once saw a special on TV about this home (I want to say it was built by someone in the firearms business and that the home was out west somewhere- but am unsure). Anyway, it is special and famous because after the owner's death, his wife had a seance and was told to add onto the house without stopping. She added rooms constantly until her death. That is all I remember and I can't find any info by doing a web search. Anyone know anything about it?

is it weird to like stories about murders, I wrote an essay about Countess Ezrabet Bathory and my teacher took me aside and started to talk to me.. there was nothing wrong about my essay, no misspelling or anything like that, she just thought that it was nessesary for me to understand that it was unhealthy to know so much about serial killers!!!

was she right? am I crazy?
