rizal and bonifacio are different in so many ways
rizal.. used his brains to conquer the spaniards
bonifacio, was brave enough to kill the spaniards.
rizal... spopke different languages in writing his novels.
bonifacio..obviously is a pure filipino so speaks pure tagalog.
rizal.. got the chance to study abroad
bonifacio, did not got the chance to study abroad but he did self- study...and read books of rizal
rizal..idolized foreign artists/writers
bonifacio, idolized rizal.
regarding your question about fighting for the love of their country. well i guess yes... but obviously in different ways/manner.
i just want to point what rizal had said in one of his novels...
"and hindi marunong magmahal sa sariling wika ay higit pa sa mabaho at malansang isda"... but ironically, he used other language in his novels. its really ironic. i know his purpose... but i think it is not only the best way just to protect his plans for us...get what i mean?!

would you risk your life if you didn't love your country kabayan? they fought and gave everything away. some might say that rizal is not worthy of the national hero standing. but remember, without rizal's books and blood, there wouldn't be any inspiration for an uprising. the murder of rizal awakened all filipinos. thats when bonifacio stepped into the stage and started the katipunan.

I believe they are my kabayan. Why ever would they risk their lives if not? There are lots of books providing the info if you're not convinced.
