World History. It covers so much that the topics are broader, and it focuses on the most important things. This actually avoids a lot of boring items, seeing there is so much but only the vitals must be learned. Then you can focus more strongly on American, which will not be as exciting, and you will be asked to remember more minute details. Learning World History will get you in to the swing of learning/remembering history.

I learned world history first, but that was only because it was like that at my school. Try learning world history first so then, when you are older, you can try to take AP US history if your school offers it.

World history, its better to start with a broad perspective, Because it will make you understand your history better. Why certain events happened and how they effect the rest of the world first.

It doesn't matter. World history starts before American history, so if you want to go in chronological order, that might be the way to go. They are unconnected enough in content that taking one class before the other will not hinder you success in the first class or make you much more successful in the second class.
