I'm putting together a small D-Day diorama and was curious if it would be historically accurate to mix a British paratrooper or two into the group of 82 & 101 soldiers.

No they did not because they were dropped at the extreme ends of the invasion arc. It is doubtful they ever ran into each other in their entire time in Normandy.

they might have possibly been mixed together but they wern't supposed to. But most paratroopers on D-Day were dropped in the wrong places so i wouldn't be suprised if they did get mixed up. I wouldn't put any British paratroopers with U.S.. Mainly cuz their drop zone was on real far away from the US drop zone. British were dropped some where around Gold Beach, and the US were dropped Around Utah beach.

No , they were dropped at opposite ends of the battle zone, many miles apart. The british airborne troops had certain specific targets to take such as gun batteries and bridges so most of them were sent in gliders to ensure maximum surprise and concentration of force.
