What im basically saying is, it was the community that let it happen, he knew they were ignorant and used them(i guess.).

Hey, if you can get away with it, do it.

Its not all his fault is it?
others let it happen..
not 100% his fault.

"He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it."
-Dr Martin Luther King Jr

Hitler was a murderous, madman who was filled with hate. People don't just THINK he was horrible, people KNOW he was so horrible. He was pure evil.

And if you don't think he was horrible, then imagine someone peeling off your skin and making a lamp with it. Or starving you to death. Hitler hated people and had them killed just because of the way they looked, thought, or prayed. And good people stood by and watched it happen.

"First they came for the Communists, but I was not a Communist so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Socialists and the Trade Unionists, but I was neither, so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Jews, but I was not a Jew so I did not speak out. And when they came for me, there was no one left to speak out for me."
-Martin Niemoller

Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
If we don't understand the past, we are doomed to repeat it.

Only this time, it may not be Jews. This time, it may be you.
Who will help you? If people decided to kill off everyone from your racial, ethnic, religious, or gender group, would strangers lay down their lives to help you, or would the whole world turn its back on you and let you die. Would you turn your back on others the way they would turn their backs on you?

This is why Hitler was so horrible:
He convinced good people to not care about the lives of others.

Well, he was horrible. Do you think it ok to kill a whole people just because they have a different religion? No way. Did you ever think about how cruel he was? He decided about other's lives. And not all people in Germany where ignorant or stupid. They were scared. As soon as somebody said anything against him, he either was excecuted or imprisoned. What fun. Don't let anybody tell you that it was the fault of the people living in Germany at that time. It's just not true. 6 million Jews died in those years, for no reason.
Hitler had a lot of helpers doing what he wanted with pleasure. But in my opinion they were all sick. Go to a library, check on what you want to know. Ask your history teacher, check on wikipedia.
There are holocausts even today. Don't you think that's cruel and horrible? Just like it was 60 years ago. My grandparents already lived at that time and one of my grandpas was a soldier in WW2 when he was only 18 years old. I don't think they liked that time of their life. Think about it. Next time before you ask a question like this one, get some information that is based on scientific research.

Well, hmmm, this is a tough one, but I'll try to answer.

I think that some people think that Adolph Hitler was a horrible person for a few minor reasons.

Um, well, he and his Nazi party were responsible for one of the biggest mass murders in history.

Let's see, oh, there is some concern over this little thing called torture...um, well he and his group decided that they would like to try to learn some medical lessons by doing horrific experiments on their prisoners. These would be like cutting people in half and then sewing them to different people to see if they would live, sewing people to dogs to see if they would live, taking body parts off while people were still conscious and without any pain relief, and hundreds of other crimes that are so horrendous that they would cause the movies like 'Saw and Hostel' to look like Disney flicks.

Oh, and then the little fact that he attempted to eliminate entire groups that he didn't like...like the Jewish people, the gypsies, the homosexuals and anyone else he thought was part of an impure race.

I'm sure that I may have missed a few things, but I think that this may help to sum it up a little.

Hope this helps to clear any confusion.

Scunty, I suggest you do the following:

1) Go to the library and read about Hilter from a few different authors.

2) Next time you are in Europe make an effort to visit Auschwitz.

As the leader and primary driver, he is 100% responsible. Others can also be responsible but that doesn't reduce his responsibility any.

An example of responsibility is if you and your three friends were to kill someone. You wouldn't be only 25% responsible. You are each 100% responsible for your own actions.

He chastised a whole race because for their religious beliefs. He put them in concentration camps were they were treated horribly, murdered, and raped. Not only did he get his whole country to take part in his ideals, but he got japan to join in too. He brain washed whole nations into believing a whole group of people were wrong for their worship. And, that they should die for it. Then he got his people to look the other way when they knew what was really going on right in their backyard. Then when the news of what was really going on in the camps was reveled, all they could say is we did not know. Hitler wasn't horrible he was the devil. That's why he committed suicide right before he was captured. He knew he was wrong, and that he would be treated the same way he had treated all the others.

He was a politician that thought he was a military genius and in the end his inabilties produced a raving lunatic. He IS a fascinating character in the history books. One of the few middle-age men to make the big time without an inheritence.

He was never excommunicated from the Roman Catholic Church. Other people have done far less to be excommunicated.

So, the point you're trying to get across is that human nature isn't entirely evil is that it?
at least that's what i'm gathering from ya Q. But horrible he is, the loony was the type of horror who deserves some sympathy.

While it's useful to note that we are all creatures of our upbringing and environment, your sense of adulation is slightly misguided here.

He should have gone to art school where he can be as egocentric as he wants with harmless objects.......

If you are trying to be a cool leftie rebel, honey , do repent..........
the world doesn't need yet another clueless intellectual poseur professing highbrow ideologies they barely can articulate..........

He was probably no worse than many other bigots and extremists. But he was a powerful public speaker and a very effective leader. Basically he was the wrong man in the right place at the right time with horrific consequences.

The jews blew the whole situation out of proportion. They made the USA feel sorry for them and now there are high ranking citizens that are jews that pretty much have the US goverment held by the balls. The jews NOW are killing United Nation and neutral peacekeepers with missiles and bombs, the US won't do a thing to stop them infact they will help them since once again the goverment are held by their balls by the jews. I say we restart what Adolf Hitler started and go on a mass genocide. If you are a jew, please, please, die.

give it about a week in the library
you'll join the ranks of the ones who will despise this man for all eternity
