I want to try out for the school cheerleading squad, but I haven't cheered in a while so my skillz are rusty. I'm wanting to start training myself one month in advance. Any tips?

I am considering taking hip-hop dance lessons, but have semi-bad knees (they sometimes twist if I step on my feet wrong). I was wondering if there was anything I could do to prevent this from happening? I have heard that hip-hop dancing is fun, and a great work-out. Thanks!

I've just about got my right and left splits, I just have to keep practicing keeping my hips square and holding it for longer than 15 seconds. But I've also been practicing sliding down into them without using my hands to catch myself. What is the proper way to do this? Can anyone help me out?

I have found a studio and am planning to ask if I can take private lessons over the summer to castch up to my age group. I am a very determined person; if I want something I will achieve it. If I get a careeer in dance then i would like to actually be dancing-anything from a Rockette to a ballerina. I have taken about a half of a year in jazz,so while I am a beginner, I am not entirely new

I was thinking about getting a job as a stripper to help with college costs. Does this make me a bad person? Does it matter if you haven't had any experience? How are you supposed to learn all the things that they do? Any advice or anyone that has done this before would be appreciated. It's not like I have a pole in my bedroom to practice with. I know they buy the clothes to strip in but from where? Do you have audition first in front of the customers? I don't want to look like an *** because I don't know what to do. Hi! I'm a junior looking at colleges and I need help! I want to find a college in the New England area or surrounding states (ya know like NY, PA, etc.) that has a solid dance program. I'm not a spectacular dancer (like Travis or Allison from So You Think You Can Dance?), but I'd say I'm more than decent. I'm looking for a program with a ballet basis, strong modern, and at least some tap. I really actually want to become a dance teacher so if the college had a good education program that would be great too. I'm a good student so I'm not too worried about exceptance difficulty yet and I'm prepared to be in debt so price isn't a big factor either. Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks in advance =)

Hi,

I think dancing helps us to stress out. Earlier when exams are over in colleges, the last day will be a jam session where we dance around the floor, pack our luggage and go home for holidays.....happily ;-) . Phag end of the month will always have a jam session to stress out that month and begin the new month happily. What is your opinion?

I dance at a popular strip club in Dallas. I make good money and have never done anything compromising. I have a fiance and we've been together two years. So why is it when I tell people I'm a stripper, they freak out? I come home to my man everyday and I live comfortably and luxuriously because of the money I make! $20 for a 4 minute lap dance seems like a good deal to me, there's no way I could make that anywhere else.
