First of all, I must say, to be a stripper you gotta have talent. I dont think its an easy job. Everybody is not cut out to do it. Just like being a lawyer or any other job or profession. I think if you're happy with what you do, you should'nt worry about what people think. There's always gonna be somebody that disapproves of you no matter what you may do. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. And thats just what that is: their opinion, it dosent make you who you are. But on another note, you may wanna get a plan B for when you start to age. Cant strip forever. lol

I guess it depends on the person's point of view.
Personally, I don't care for stripping because you're essentially being purchased. I just don't think that another human be able to walk off the street and be able to rent a fellow human for personal entertainment the same way we rent a DVD from Blockbuster. I feel it takes away from a person's humanity to be sold to anyone who is buying, even if it's temporary or out of free will.
Many people in our society have the notion that morality (wrong versus right) is defined by compensation (read: $$) and demand (read: I'm only giving people what they are asking for). But not everyone feels that it's morally acceptable to do something as long as there is demand and profit involved.
If you feel that living a life of material comforts is worth what you do for a living, who is anyone to argue with that? Just keep in mind that not everyone sees it that way. Some folks believe that taking off your clothes and lap dancing strangers isn't worth cars, shopping trips, jewelry, or whatever else you purchase to create a luxurious lifestyle.
Oh, and the fact that your fiance doesn't mind that any man in Dallas can pay you to take off your clothes and dance around may shock people. It's always odd for some folks to hear that some men are cool with it. I guess the assumption is that men in love are usually jealous.
Hope this helps.

What bothers me about it is that, for me, love and sex go together. What happens when you strip in a club is that men watch you and get aroused without loving or respecting you as a person. Your body should be yours and private, and not 'belong' to a bunch of perverts who don't care much about you as a person.
Your fiance is the one who probably loves you, and he should be the one who has exclusive rights! I'm sure you have a lot of other talents you can develop. Being a stripper takes some social and other skills, so you can't be stupid. Go for it, and show people the stuff your really are made of...

Yeah its your life do whatever you pleas but it does seem like you are taking the easy way out...you could make that money elswhere but it would take more effort. You can understand why people may be surprised when you tell theem you are a stripper because it is frowned upon in society today to sell your body weather it may be right or wrong. I have no problem with stripping and dont think its wrong but at the same time...though it may be stereotypical..itst hard to respect a stripper. Just giving you my honest opinion! :)

I could answer your question with MY perspective of what I think about stripping but it won't help you at all. No matter what you do in your career, social life, finance, etc. people will have a different opinion. It's your life what do you think? How do you feel about stripping? Do you want your career choice to be respected in society? Is that why you care so much about what others think? Ultimately everyone wants to be happy, and if stripping makes you happy, then your problem isn't yor professions. It's people!

I think a more solid career is definitely a better career, but hell strippers do make more money than most people with solid careers. I would say its fine as long as you know you wont regret it and as long as it doesnt cause problems.
Though i would say stripping and saving is a good plan as well as trying to find a solid career for when you want to get out of that business.

If you and your fiance are both fine with it, there's nothing wrong with stripping. Chances are the people who freak out when you tell them what you do have never had a lap dance!

I think it's wrong because you're showing your body to total strangers. Though the money is good but you could get killed at anytime. Your body is secret . Somebody always has an excuse why they are stripping

i do no longer inevitably see it as "immoral", in spite of the incontrovertible fact that that's actually no longer something that i could ever do in my view, nor could I ever patronize a strip club (even nevertheless i'm a female, many women bypass to strip golf equipment, as you're properly conscious). I in simple terms do no longer accept as true with women advertising their bodies, whether or no longer they are offering intercourse or in simple terms getting bare for degenerate voyeurs who're too pathetic to discover a woman of their own. Strippers make solid money, confident, yet is the blow to their self-properly worth and delight fairly properly worth it? i think of that stripping is absolutely the final subject i could ever do if I have been out of a activity. I in simple terms does no longer be happy with myself if I made a residing with the help of having bare for strangers. i do no longer mean that to insult you; that's in simple terms how i think related to the subject, as own critiques are what you asked for. i'm against women degrading themselves or advertising themselves short in any way, shape, or style, and that i think of that stripping is likely one in all the superb forms of self degradation. yet once you're happy with what you do, and it would not make you sense regretful or ashamed in any way, then with the help of all means, save doing it, and keeping making a residing that way. in spite of each and every little thing, there is easily a never ending furnish of folk who will consistently patronize strip golf equipment; I, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, in simple terms isn't one in all them.
