For the first time in my life, I'm losing weight and getting into good shape and flexibility. I used to be in soccer, jazz, tap and ballet until I was about eight, until we ran out of money and I couldn't afford to be in extracurriculars any more. Afterwards, I gained a lot of weight, and so I didn't participate in sports/dance at school.
Now it's too late to try out for anything for my senior year, but I'm looking forward to college, and I really want to start training for something new. I really love performing (acting, singing) and I have a background in band, choir and theatre, so anything that would have me performing in front of large crowds interests me. I also loved gymnastics and ballet, but I've been told it's too late to start gymnastics or ballet again to perform on a college team/troup, so anything related would be good.
I'm also still pretty good at soccer, so it's an option, as is any sport that focuses on legs - I have very strong, toned legs.
Any ideas?
