A way to give flowers to a man is giving him potted flowers. If you think flowers is not good at all - candies or cookies is always good.

He's 6. He-she role stuff isn't so important at that age, and he can't be too concerned about it if he's in a dance recital (good for him!).

If you give him something other than flowers, you're singling him out. However, if you happen to know he likes trains, or airplanes, or the violin, whatever, you can get him a distinctive arrangement, flowers with bold colors (not pink), in a vase shaped like a train or whatever.

If you know the boy well, and really think he would be put off by flowers, then get him a cookie bouquet or some chocolates to share with the ladies.

I don't agree with the idea of giving him a "real boy" toy or something along that line - that comes from adult stereotypes (and it's how they're taught) rather than from any real concern for the kid in question. Just the opinion of a dad and former boy. ;-)

Giving performers flowers at the end of a performance is a tradition. It has absolutely nothing to do with whether the dancer is a boy or a girl. The flowers are a thank you for the performance.

Something other than flowers might stand out a lot. A little boy might like to be advised that at performances he might receive flowers. He could be told if he wants to keep them he can. If he does not want them or if he doesn't know what to do with them, he may give them as gifts to his teacher(s), his mother, his sister, or his favorite girls in the class. A little advance notice could make this a really touching event for him.

All three of my boys did ballet, jazz, tap, and musical theatre at the same time my daughter did. They danced for 2 years she danced for 14. After each performance, the boys received flowers just like she did. They would share theirs and it went over really well with the girls that had shared their classes.

Don't let the fool that thinks that boys shouldn't dance or that it might make them sissies worry you. All my boys danced and had fun at highschool events, two of the three do ballroom classes as young adults with their girlfriends. (The third boy's girl friend works late and can't go to class.) Neither of my current boy dancers ever lacks a partner. Life is good. My daughter continues to dance as well. Now, only if my husband danced:(

The boy will answer that query while he's sufficiently previous & is conscious himself greater useful. My son performed with Barbies, I puzzled from the time he substitute into 2 if he substitute into gay, he's now 19 and looks to be in the present day yet i might like him the two way. My best advice to any discern is to permit the toddler be, attempting to alter him might basically reason greater discomfort down the line (might reason the toddler confusion, self loathing, melancholy, etc) as he matures. being youthful might nicely be painful even without those themes and much greater so without the help of family members and kinfolk. If he's gay he won't enhance out of it, tell the mothers and dads to love and help their toddler, bypass away the possibilities open for the boy to particular himself, infants this age do not possibly understand in the present day or gay yet they are in a position to experience the sentiments in those reacting around him, merely love & settle for the boy!!!

What does he like? If he has no objections to flowers, then give him flowers. I know perfectly straight guys who like flowers after a recital (seriously people, someone once gave me cookies I was deathly allergic to after I danced, and I was still happy that they cared enough to give me anything).

If you think he'll really dislike them, give him candy or balloons (yay, they both get something decorative to carry around).

Actually, if you give him candy, give both of them candy. It's nice to get stuff and all, but little kids are little kids.
