Is he really the best in the state? Are there no alternatives? If not, and you really want to learn to dance, grit your teeth and carry on. If his treatment is making you unhappy, leave find the second best in the state, but someone with whom you are comfortable and go with them. Final decision has to be yours though. Hope this helps

It's really funny that your going through this... My artistic director just had a talk with our company last night about this same thing. What he told us makes since. Your teacher is only one person and if you let that one person dictate how you dance then you will never grow. Take what you can get from that person. If he is the best in town then get what ever training and knowledge you can from him. Besides, during the span of your life as a dancer you will have to deal with teachers, choreographers and co-workers that you don't really like, so putting up with your teacher now is only giving you the strength to handle similar situations in the future.
So to answer your question... if there is no one else then stay with him. Hope that helps.

u should try to put up with him as he is the best as u say. and try to findwhy does he favour those two kids. If it's something related to money, then be mentally prepared that you can do nothing in this case. But if it's the other way round, then try to become his favourite(this can be done by concentrating in your dance.)

Most dance instructors are jerks. It is a form of discipline to see how committed you are to your craft. If you are truly learning a lot then do not take your instructor's attitude personally. Take what you like (the instruction) and leave the rest (his attitude).
This teaching approach is not unique to dance and can be found in martial arts as well. Here is a Buddhist story I received in my email yesterday. It seems appropos to your situation:
Gautama Buddha's preaching was interrupted one day by a man unleashing a flurry of abusive invective. Calmly waiting for his critic to finish, Buddha asked, "If a man offered a gift to another but the gift was declined, to whom would the gift belong?" "To the one who offered it," the man replied.
"Then," Buddha declared, "I decline to accept your abuse and request that you keep it for yourself."

you should leave he might be the best dance teacher but if he doesnt respect all of his students then he is not a very good teacher than and about the other two if they are like him than ''get out,get out'' there could be better teachers out there you just have to look 4 them.

money corrupts people
as long as you are leaning valuable things from him, just stick it out.
or you know, hire a hit man or something.
