If I'm writing a book and wanted elvish in it, could I take, for example, elvish words from an online elvish dictionary then change the spelling to use in my book? The words would not actually mean what the elvish dictionary would be saying but just for the sound of it. Is that illegal?

Be similar to the books Lightning Thief, Sea of Monsters, and Titan's Curse by Rock Riordan. plz. I have already read those books and I want a new book to read. Or the book could be about cats like the Warrior cat series.

Is this Spark Notes summary accurate? It summarizes Chapters 31-33 (or Volume 2, Chapters 3 through 5). I really need to know!
Thanks.

After reading the Dark series do you ever feel like there is someone listening in on your thoughts, or is it just me?

Okay, so I'm really into love stories... I love the Twilight series because it's dramatic, passionate and suspenful at the same time.

The thing is, I have an assignment where I have to choose a book that is considered a classic. What are some good suggestions for classic, romantic books? Page number is not an issue ; )

In 2008 I'd like to read all of Jane Austen's novels, but I'm not sure where to start. What would be the best order to read them in? The order she wrote them in? Something else? Thanks!!

So i just read Ender's game again and at the end it says that Mazer Rackham was going to be the colony ship pilot. However if you read Shadow of the Giant, the parallel series, you find that Mazer Rackham is a somewhat major character in the story so I was wondering if anyone knew what was going on there did Card screw up? or do I just need to finish reading the rest of the Ender's series for it to explain it?

Take my aunt Dahlia. Do not take me wrong, I love the old flesh-and-blood. But her moral code is lax.
I retired to some distant village to improve my health. There I met her, visiting some friends. She bet everything she possessed on a horse, and the horse was not going to win, but another horse called Potato Chip. Now, Potato Chip took a fancy to a stray cat, and did nothing without it - didn't eat, didn't sleep, didn't exercise. So, my aunt hired a local poacher to steal the cat! And she told me nothing, and she asked him to hide the cat in my cottage! I didn't know she was so unprincipled!
And now the owner of the horse is coming to my cottage in person to search it!
What am I to do? How can I de-cat the premises and quickly?
P.S. The cat refuses to leave on its own.

When you read that book, what other works of literature or things that happened in your life came into mind? Anything about the racism, prejudice, courage, sin, and other themes of the novel? Any books you read that have similar storylines or themes?

Also this is optional and it has nothing to do with quizzes or homework, but what do you think of this book?

Will Bella be changed? Will she go through with the wedding? Will Edward go through with it knowing she doesn't want to? What will happen to Jacob? What do you think will happen with the Volturi? What about the vamps in Alaska? There are unanswered questions I have about them specifically Tanya. Anything clean goes. I want to know your thoughts (only about the book not the movie)

Every book I read is about someone moving to a small town and meeting the love of their life, or about someone living there their whole lives and finally loving the one they hated. But no matter what the situation, it always seems to work in a small town. I was wondering why that was....

I have a cousin - very distant cousin - in Ruritania. I recently
visited that country, and met him, and we were stricken at how similar we looked - the same long sharp noses, red hair... Shave me, and we are undistinguishable!
Then, it happened so that my cousin... well, fell ill and he had to be in a very important function. If he didn't go, he'd be done! So, I volunteered to help him. I shaved, and attended the function with his two old friends. I pretended to be him, and no one noticed (it was his first time to appear on public). There I met his fiancee - well, a woman who everybody thought would marry him in time, as their families were close - and fell in love with her... and she - with me!
What should I do now? She thinks I am he! And everybody else, too!

heres the jist of it.

Theirs this guy whos name is Gerard Love, he's 21 years of age. And lives in Mass. Hes highly addicted to drugs. and drinks heavily.

thats the basic of the story.

im wondering should Gerard die at the end?
Or live to tell other not to to drugs?

I think he should die at the end to make a bigger impact, instead the typical 'the guy cleans up his act and then turns out great'.

Opinions would be very welcomed.

thank you.
