What I meant by my last question is whether a literary agent will do me any good. Say a publishing company does not require a literary agent and i can just sent my request in to them for publication. Would having a literary agent help me in publishing? would a literary agent help me money-wise and all those other -"wise"'s?
pro's of a literary agent?

Like as the waves make towards the pebbled shore,
So do our minutes hasten to their end;
Each changing place with that which goes before,
In sequent toil all forwards do contend.
Nativity, once in the main of light,
Crawls to maturity, wherewith being crown'd,
Crooked elipses 'gainst his glory fight,
And Time that gave doth now his gift confound.
Time doth transfix the flourish set on youth
And delves the parallels in beauty's brow,
Feeds on the rarities of nature's truth,
And nothing stands but for his scythe to mow:
And yet to times in hope my verse shall stand,
Praising thy worth, despite his cruel hand.

do any of these lines not have 10 syllables. i though that 4,6 and 14 might be off but this was a shakeapeare poem and he could have pronounced things dif

Hi
I'm looking for a new copy of the RTK

Im looking for a non-abridged version in english. Does anyone have an author that they recommend?

I heard Moss Roberts may have a 4 volume edition that had an excellent review, but I also know that some of his earlier translations may not have been so good...

Any assistance will be appreciated.

I have a 400 page novel that I am almost done editing. When I am done editing, I would like to know whether it would make a difference if I got myself a literary agent and continued on to publish from there or whether it would be just as easy/good to publish w/o a literary agent.

I believe the name of it was something like, "I Can't Believe They Make That!" or something like that! My stepmother used to get it in the mail when I lived at home, and I want to order it for myself and I just can't remember the name of it. Thanks!

Woolf defines conversion as an evil that has a "venerable name." Septimus is labeled as the "insane" one; Clarissa is called the "perfect hostess." How does this show how they are assimilated into society?
