Hi
I'm looking for a new copy of the RTK

Im looking for a non-abridged version in english. Does anyone have an author that they recommend?

I heard Moss Roberts may have a 4 volume edition that had an excellent review, but I also know that some of his earlier translations may not have been so good...

Any assistance will be appreciated.

Darren check this site out I think it will help

"Regardless of edition, don't buy abridged versions of ROTK. Moss Roberts has a full version and an abridged version, and they may confuse you. When you read the cover of the book, pay attention to whether the word "abridged" is present in the cover or the publisher reviews. If it is, don't go for it. The full version is much more enjoyable. The 4-volume boxed set you mentioned published by the Foreign Language Press in Beijing, China is said to be one of the best translation by Moss Roberts but I found them irritating since there are misspellings here and there, all of the 4 volumes should have been better proofread before appearing to those willing to buy and read them.
