There are two types of carriers: the CV(S) has a larger than normal shuttle bay on each side. The CV(P) has individual 'pods' for the various small craft to be stored in so that they can launch by simple opening the exterior doors to their pods rather than being transported from the hangar to the elevator. In comparing the two types, I've come up with the following six characteristics:
-Shipboard weapons
-Simultaneous launch/retrieval
-Ease of launch/retrieval
-Hull integrity
-Ability to continue launch/
retrieval operations when damaged
-Flexibility in carrying various sizes and types of small craft

My question is two-fold: 1.) can you think of any of the potential advantages to having one type or the other in addition to the six I have listed here? 2.) which type would have an advantage in each category and why?

I have an assignment for my class to write a valentines day sonnet. But I have serious writers block because I've never been in love. I don't even believe in love the way most people do. I think love is just a word that people use to label thier feelings of attachment. And unconditional love is an impossible fairy tale because without condtions love would not be possible in the first place. Sure, I've had a few girlfriends that I liked, but I don't think I loved them because I knew exactly why I liked them and wasn't saddened when the relationship was over. I do write poetry as a hobby, so metaphor, rhyme and imagery are not hard for me. But how does someone who's never been in love write a sonnet about it? Where do I start?

I was wondering if anyone can think of a female version of the name Legolas. I am going to be playing an RP game and want to make a female hunter themed off of him. Any ideas?

Has any-one read the books Felidae and Felidae on the Road? They are the first two of a series of 5 books but they were originally written in German. Does any-one know where I can find a translation of the other three?
I have tried Amazon and E-bay and all the normal book stockists and that even tried just entering the books on several search engines. You guys out there are my last hope.
