I got it as a gift from my son, and I hear it is in production as a movie.....

I'm looking for the title and author of a science fiction short story I read a while ago. It was about a futuristic society in which animals were no longer killed for their meat, and meat was instead synthesized. One day, some restaurateur came up with a new food (I think it was called Ambrosia, maybe not?) and it was really popular. It was later discovered that Ambrosia was really synthesized human flesh. I also (perhaps mistakenly) remember this story being a court case against the restaurateur, and the lawyer was trying to explain to the judge/jury that they were carnivores (I remember that that word was spelled out) and that meat came from dead animals. I remember that towards the end (maybe even the last line) the lawyer says or writes c-a-n-n-i-b-a-l. Thanks. (It's not Soylent Green, or Delicatessen...it's a short story!)

I read a book about a year ago, that I'm trying to find again. I can't remember the author, but I do know the title: "Brain Waves". It is a mystery about a neurologist who is looking into a murder that happened to one of her coworkers, sort of like a CSI thing. I know that the main character is based on a scientist in real life and the author is a scientist himself. I would like to read a non-fiction book about the Romanov family, specifically Tsar Nicolas and Alexandra and their children, which tells of what led to their murders and what happened the night the family was killed as well as things that have happened since then. ie: their bodies being found, but two of the children were missing and maybe about the girl who claimed to be Anastasia, etc. Can anyone suggest any books on this topic? I'd prefer books that I can still buy...I don't do libraries or used books.

So, there's this book i've called Twilight. It's an AMAZING book. However, now all other books seem kind of boring compared. I'm not that bad of a critic. I'm also pretty open to all kinds of books.
