I'm looking for the title and author of a science fiction short story I read a while ago. It was about a futuristic society in which animals were no longer killed for their meat, and meat was instead synthesized. One day, some restaurateur came up with a new food (I think it was called Ambrosia, maybe not?) and it was really popular. It was later discovered that Ambrosia was really synthesized human flesh. I also (perhaps mistakenly) remember this story being a court case against the restaurateur, and the lawyer was trying to explain to the judge/jury that they were carnivores (I remember that that word was spelled out) and that meat came from dead animals. I remember that towards the end (maybe even the last line) the lawyer says or writes c-a-n-n-i-b-a-l. Thanks. (It's not Soylent Green, or Delicatessen...it's a short story!)

That sounds like Arthur C. Clarke's "The Food of the Gods," from his short story collection "The Wind from the Sun."

robotic targets with the aid of Isaac Asimov - it incredibly is a selection of a few of his short thoughts. in case you have in no way heard of him, he's written countless sci-fi books and perhaps greater beneficial commonplace to a youthful era as writing the fast thoughts/thought in the back of the action picture, I, robotic.
