Which one was a better read?

I've written several novels now and most of them are about 250,000 words. Is that higher or lower than average. I don't care if it's above average on the word count, but I don't want to be the skinny guy stuck on a shelf that is so thin the title can't be printed on the spine. Just wondering.

Also, are there any forums online for writers? I've looked and turned up a few that require a rather hefty membership fee and I'm not THAT desperate to find one. Basically somewhere that you can edit-swap and things of the like.

Suggestions for a title for my novel, please!
I am trying to think up a title for my novel which is about a detective...bats are also involved. Can any one think of a title which plays up the mystery element?

I need a thesis statement for the book " And then there were none " by Agatha christie.. well basically im just trying to prove something .. and i have to write a research paper but i cant think of any good thesis statments.. can anyone help me out ?

The only english word in the book is the word copyright (1919). It appears to be a poetry book. It is fragile and are around 100 pages. The title appears to be "Conntich" or "Gonntich". The author appears to be Auguft Lammle. These are printed on the cover of the book. Can anyone tell me what it is and roughly what it is worth???? Any information would be appreciated. Thank You!!!!!

I'm on my winter break and I need some books to read over the holidays. Any suggestions? I'm mostly into R.L stine and V.C Andrews novels or anything that is simliar to their writing style. So if theres one out there thats really good tell me and I'll read. List as many as possible I love reading A LOT!!
