Sorry for the uneducated fools who haven't ever even read Frost answering your question.

He was a bone fide genius in form and content and his alliterations are without peer. A very keen observer of man alone and the struggle with conscience.

I love him.

His themes are universal and his rhymes are never forced.

(It's The Road Not Taken, not The Road Less Traveled. The latter is a psychology/philosophy book by M. Scott Peck, a good book in its own right--but I've always thought that Frost was only grasping at straws when he refered to the road not taken as less-travelled-by, that really we can't know whether what we do is the right or only or best thing to do.)

She may know cove and cape
but she does not know mankind

she hopes to cut off mind.

(Sand Dunes, I think...or Sea Waves?)

Honestly, I find the bulk of his work to be very intriguing. I am a sucker for his type of poetic style and writing.

I find his poetry works to be very thought-provoking and possibly doorways to an array of introspective exploration.

Is he the best of the best? That's too hard to say, but I would probably put him in my top ten for the things I've read and experienced.

Wonderful and marvelous. He is most appreciated by patrons of poetry who are particularly introspective. "The Road Less Traveled" is without a doubt one of the quintessential works in the poetry world today.
