I just really don't know what to think of their so-called 'love' for each other and their marriage. Was he really over Kattie or did he just marry Marry because he wanted to be as close to Kattie as he could be? Did he just want a wife and all that comes with it? I wonder if he would have married Kattie had she repented right away or shortly after. Why didn't he chase after her? Was he jealous of Dan in the beginning? Does he still secretely want to be with Kattie? I really don't have a grasp on this character. Someone please help!

I really need notes for this book, I don't care if they are from a site, your own notes, your friends, or anything. If you can do this, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

I read it my sophmore or junior year. I remember liking the book but I cannot recall the title. one of the main characters was Okwanko(that may be misspelled) and I think it took place in Africa or South America. As you can see I really need help.

If you know the title of the book or any other ways I can go about finding the title, please let me know.

THANX!

I don't care about marketing and distribution, I just mean actual printing of a book. This would be a kids book with about 20-30 pages in color. What is the easiest and cheapest way to get this printed into a book format?

I read it when I was a kid. It's about a family who win lotto and then the boy is kidnapped and taken into the bush. But he gets away and is hiding out in an abandoned house and there are feral cats everywhere. When one of the kidnappers kills a kitten, all the ferals attack the kidnappers... It's set in Australia, but I have no idea of what it was called.

I read a book as a child, and loved it, but cannot remember its title. Can anyone recognise it from these patchy memories? This was probably 25 or so years ago.

It was basically a science fiction novel for (I reckon) a 10 year old, about a boy who flies around a number of planets in his own small spaceship. On one of the planets, he is surrounded by stone like objects that move very slowly, and I think he gets surrounded by them after falling asleep in them. I seem to recall another scene where he lands his spaceship on his school playing field and burns it with the engines. I think they also played a game a bit like polo in spaceships.

Granted, it doesn't sound too inspiring, but I can remember a real magical sense to it, and I've been trying to remember it so I can read it to my son.

I really did like the book up until I hit the very confusing ending. Though I hate to do it, I looked it up on the booknotes pages, but still don't understand which site is right. Where is Holden and did he write a book for everyone to read or what? If anyone out there can clear up the ending for me, I would really appreciate it. Thanks for the help!

I've been having a mental block concerning this word for the longest time.... please help me! lol

It's used to describe someone wanting to do or say something but someone else has just done it, and so it would be awkward because they did it first, so although the thought is there, it's not the same.

Madeleine L'Engle I know uses this word when Charles Wallace kisses Mrs. Whatsit after the conversation concerning her starhood, and Meg wants to kiss her as well, but feels it would be - and here I can't remember! I wish I had the book in front of me!!!

I’m rereading Wuthering Heights, and I’m still having trouble with Joseph’s accent, even the second time around. The first time I ended up just skipping over it, but even though I know he really doesn’t say anything that important, I kind of want to read the book in whole this time. Does anyone know of any websites that decipher his speech?

P.S. I’ve already tried reading his parts out loud. It doesn’t work for me, even with the pronunciation guides… just to tedious.

"A person should hear a little music, read a little poetry, and see a fine picture every day of his life, in order that worldly cares may not obliterate the sense of the beautiful which God has implanted in the human soul." Goethe

Sounds like a good idea to me. Please help to restore my soul after an hour on YA. Thank you.

Hello, I have to ask... Writers, authors, or people who like to guess. When writing my story, I have come to a great point... but I was puzzled. One of the main characters are black, and I was wondering if it seemed stereotypical to (in his description) state he is black... If it seems stereotypical, what else could I use to state this info?
