Watership Down is an excellent novel, and if you have read Brian Jacques' Redwall series and liked those, then you should also enjoy Watership Down. It has also been referred to in a lot of shows, games, and movies. If you're a fan of LOST, reading this novel might show you some pretty interesting parallels between Watership Down and the characters and plot of the show.

I enjoyed reading Watership Down. I can't remember much about it now, but I remember it being a relatively quick read...and always keeping my interest.

I say go for Catcher in the Rye, instead.

Because it was a surprisingly good book when I was forced to read it. (Long story, but my Literature teacher knew I had read The Hobbit before and assigned me to read this novel instead). Sometimes you have to keep your mind open to possibilities.

That book is really wonderful. I think you are really going to enjoy it. I was skeptical at first. I mean, talking rabbits?! Come on!

But, its really so much more and so much better than you think.

Cheers!

Oooh, I haven't read that in a long time. It's good--very deep and a little eerie.
