...for requesting that JK Rowling not have Harry Potter die in book 7?

Several of his books have ended with the necessary death of the protagonist, including The Dead Zone, The Stand, and Tommyknockers.

If the story dictates that Harry must die, then I'll accept it. He's not a real person, you know?

What do you feel about all the self-help, self improvement, advice, personal development books and materials that are out there?

Are they all just out to get your money?

Do their advice prove useful even?

Has anyone ever gotten any benefit out of them?

a recent news said that stephen king and john irving asked jk rowling not to kill harry potter in book 7. however, she said she cannot promise that! she also said that some of the characters she expected to survive died and one will get a reprieve! will harry die?! would you want him to? have your say!

Apparently he's trying to convince J.K. Rowling not to kill off Harry Potter. This is from a writer whose novels aren't exactly fit for the kiddies themselves. Am I the only one who thinks this is a little strange? I'm not advocating the demise of Harry Potter. I just think that out of all of the writers... Stephen King???

Im a guy, and im in college.

i like the military, and fiction. i also like things that are deep and philosophical and makes you contemplate life and the such.

I dont like the overly extravegent literary books which take half a page to describe the wallpaper in a room and tries too hard to seem like a brainey book for english professors.

I dont like sci-fi or books like lotr.

Give me some suggestions. THANKS!
