Didn't he do the one with Jack Ryan and the Irish Terrorism? I like that one.

A Time to Kill for obvious reasons; but also loved The Testament, The Broker, A Painted House and Bleachers ... actually the only ones I didn't like were The Chamber and The Street Lawyer. And Skipping Christmas was an halarious change for Grisham.

I still like his first three books the best: A Time To Kill, The Pelican Brief and The Firm. I think all three of those books had well-written characters and excellent, fast-paced plotlines. The movies for those turned out pretty good, too, although they made unneccesary changes to some of the plotlines. But those three told the best stories I think.

I too liked 'A painted house', 'The pelican brief', 'The firm', 'Skipping christmas', The brethren' and some others but did not like 'the summons'. Still to read - ''the broker', 'the last juror'.....though i have them all at home(the entire collection)....i've got a little bored of the lawyer/court stuff.

A Time to Kill wasmy favorite. I also really enjoyed most of his other books, just thought some of his endings were weak. The Rainmaker and the Runaway Jury were probably my next favorites. I have bir reas his new one yet - An Innocent Man - but as it is a non-fiction thriller - I am really looking forward to it.

I actually liked A Painted House. I also liked The Firm - I thought the rest of his courtroom books went downhill after that one.

Love his books - don't like most of the movies that have been made from them though..........they are such a disappointment after reading the books.

A Time To Kill and The Client are my two favorite books of his - both of these movies were OK, not great, but more tolerable than the other movies.
