people! How do I make the cover of Times Magazine (for a good reason)?

Buy a copy of the magazine and look inside for the Editor's name. Usually magazines have information inside that will direct you when mailing a human interest story. They require the story, contact info, photos and they do like testimonials that back your story.

You can work in a factory that makes Time and make the magazines all day long! The good reason would be because people are interested in reading it and looking at it so they need people to work in the factories.
