I'm looking for a web site where I might be able to type in a theme or a subject and it would generate a list of books that I might like based on what I'm looking for. Amazon doesn't really work for this. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

there was a series of books about a jewish family, 5 or 6 sisters and there baby brother. I read them in grade school (1970's) and wanted to get them for my libary. I don't know if the titles were "the stepping stone sisters" but thats what comes to mind.

I would like to write a book about a rather infamous crime that happened in the '70. although I am acquainted with a few people either involved or affected by the crime, the project would still require a great deal of investigation. Are there any publishers who will pu t up money for such a book, based on a written proposition and/or synopsis?

I just finished reading the Shopaholic series and I really enjoyed reading a series of books with the same characters. Could you recommend any more series of books? preferablly ones that are chic books and are funny.

please dont say lord of the rings... I'm not into that kind of reading.

After this posting its on to writing more of my auto biographical novel and my first meeting with dad2. I posted a page on Y but you hated my attempt to make it more romantic and I took it off. In reality it was really was just a steamy drunken bunk up in Corfu but we met up again in the UK and it lasted until dad3 came into the picture. It is semi autobiographical so I dont want to sound like a slag when my Nigel is old enough to read it. It was romantic in its way perhaps not moon and twinkling stars in the abyss of the night that you yawned at. So without graphically describing what we did and leaving out the starry night and hoping not to write Chick Lit or win the bad sex writing award as my tutor tells me, how far do I go? I don't want to read other novels in case I get influenced and copy them.

I'm getting really angry because our teachers will make us write about one book that we read this summer! I also think this is unfair because it's our vacation and the school can't do anything to make it bad. In the Philippine Islands where I used to lived, when we get out of school for summer, teachers won't even ask us to read something only parents do that! Somehow, summer vacation in the Philippine Islands is better than summer vacation here!

He goes and destroyes the other items of voldermorts soul and then has a final show down where he and voldermort fight and both die. Harry obviously dies otherwise there would be no reason not to write a book about when he is older and other events and encounters he has.
