He goes and destroyes the other items of voldermorts soul and then has a final show down where he and voldermort fight and both die. Harry obviously dies otherwise there would be no reason not to write a book about when he is older and other events and encounters he has.

You do have part of the answer: Harry and Voldemort will probably have a face-off. The rest, however, I have my doubts. Everyone assumes Harry will die, and if I were JK Rowling, I'd make him live just to prove you wrong. We won't know what happens until we read it. Everything else is just theory and speculation.

And just because it's the last book in the series, doesn't mean Harry will die at the end. Billions of books have no sequels without the main character dying. If the story is finished, no need for more books of their adventures. There's fanfiction for that, and just your good old imagination.

Let's just wait and read, what do you think?

Rowling has choosen the just to write seven books in this series. If the ending is predictable don't read the book. But for others it like reading a mystery novel of sorts. There well be a lot of unanswered question settled in this book especially Harry Potter's Aunt and why has she abused both her son and Harry. My guess is that she watched her parents die at the hands of Dementors and she abused both her son and Harry out of a warp sense of love I guess. She wanted a dull Muggle life and she got one until Harry showed up at the door step. It be interesting to see if I am right on this assumption or not. Also I like to know what happens to the gang what becomes of them if they manage to live though the final book. I also want to learn more about the Potter Family and why did they become so rich; and is Harry really related to Godic Gyiffindor. http://www.hp-lexicon.org/essays/essay-petunia.html this is a essay written about Petunia Dudsley I hope you read it; and see why I say she is the key to part of this last book.

J.K. Rowling has said she doesn't want it to turn out like all of the rest of the books. She said that two main characters die. You know the Horcrux things? Well each one has a little bit of Voldemort in them...and so does Harry. I think Harry has to die so Voldemort will die so the rest of the world lives.

Well duh that is predictable, but as a reader jk Rowling has to let us know what hes going to do in the next book. Its not predictable, do you know where he is going to find the horcuxes?,how the wedding will go?,What 2 people will die?,What Harry will find at godrics hollow when he sees his parents grave?,RON and Hermione relationship?, no, it is far away from predictable, yes we know what the main thing that is going to happen in the book,(harry and voldemort battle),but that's the point of the series to know the plot of whats going to happen in the next book based on the previous one.

well.. probably both of them are going to die... the mistery of the entire book though, is how? and there's this whole mistery involving dumbledore not really being dead, and snape not being really evil... so thats should make the book more interesting even though we can predict what the end will probably be.and who knows... maybe we are wrong and harry will live...or harry will die and voltemort will survive who knows for sure?

All the Harry Potter books have been predictable and dull, so JK Rowling will not disappoint her millions of braindead fans, I'm sure.

Three people will die, they say? Probably Harry, Voldemort, and Snape. Ron and Hermione will not die because they'll get married and live happily ever after.

I don't think so. I think they'll find out that the prophecy didn't really mean Harry, but Neville, and that Dumbledore wasn't the one they really killed, but Wormtail disguised as Dumbledore. There are hints along those lines that are mentioned in book 6, but never really developed.

i dont think that harry has to die! why write books about him being older and stuff? i dont think anyone will care, the point is what he is doing now, being under voldemort's eye all the time, what he is doing in hogwarts, his friends and how he will destroy his enemies, if all this is done...well, he will live happy and thats all folks. we arent suppose to watch his whole life i think. i dont want him to die!
