She often displayed cruelty to harry and the other students and i think she even used one of the Unforgivable curses, which are basically curses used to torture, possess, or kill people.

No she wasnt a death eater she works in the magic and doestnt like the rumor of the return of voldemort like the fudge. she thinks it is a story. as dumbeldore and harry to saying to the ministy the return of voldemoret she believes it as a tale and to put them away she treats hary in a bad ways

That is a good question that might be answered in the last book. I know she thinking only of her job and she is duty bond to who ever is the Minister in Charge of Wizards and Witches. So she will do what ever it is to keep her job and that there is no upsets in her world of Wizards and Witches. As for now all I can say she just government servrant who will do anything the present Minister in Charge of Wizards and Witches in power is going to do. By the way she couldn't teach her way out of wet paper bag.

I think she is more like the one who had his own son locked up as a death eater. Remember, fanaticism was present on both sides, both the death eaters and the ones trying to wipe them out.

No she wasn't. She worked for the Ministry and was a freak about obeying rules. She was never involved witht he deatheaters. As a matter of fact she didn't believe that Voldemort was back, she was with Fudge on that. It wasn't until the end of the book that fudge realizes that Voldemort was back.

No, she was just a power hungry B***h. She was obviously jealous of the fact that Harry had more respect than her and was willing to do anything to push him down.

Shes just part of the mInistry , which i think very1 who works their is stupid and mean (like fudge), thats why theres the order, for people who want voldy killed.
