Which one is better? Or can someone think of a more catchy sentence?? It has to do with it being difficult to marry a Duke.

1) The desire for becoming the wife of a Duke is universal amongst the ladies, yet it is rarely satisfied

2) The desire for winning the position as the wife of a Duke is universal amongst the ladies, yet it is rarely satisfied

3)The desire for snaring a Duke is universal amongst the ladies, yet it is rarely satisfied

I read it a couple weeks ago. I thought the care and love of friends portrayed in that book was simply lovely. I was so upset when Sister Husband passed away. The ending was good, and I thought everyone got what they deserved. what are your opinions on it?

Her breath, enchanting
Smells salty, so crisp and clean,
like a tear. She is
calm today.
Crashing, rolling, rising and falling!
But in a gentle way.

I take a few steps closer, where the sand
Is no longer dry or loose.
But is slick and wet, and tight-packed too.
I reach for a gem, but she steals it.
A jolt to my senses.
Her touch is so cold!
I lay down, she moves in to swallow me
Shock grabs hold.Releases. Numbness follows.
My body is gone, an icy feeling.
But it is my worries, the ocean is
stealing.

I wrote this poem a while back and I just want some feedback on it. Anything that particularly good? Anything I should change or take out? Thanks for reading!

I love it, I love it, I love it.

Everyone is so sweet.
Although Tohru seems a bit too pathetic at times.
Do they show it in the U.S.?
My favorite character is Hatori Sohma, he is so distant and mysterious. (sighs) What is his past, with Kana-San and stuff. I've just started, so...
Shigure is so frivolous!
How many books are there so far?

FROM THE ASHES OF CELESTIAL DEBRIS

by Doc

Deprived of the hibernation of
indifference,
seemingly self-imposed, quite often
self-inflicted,

separate souls are drawn back onto the
stages of life.

These characters, being favored by
the Gods that be,
had fate directing them onward towards
the chance meeting.

Against their will their passions kindled
the flames anew,
again fueling the once diminished
embers of care.

Knowing that they are nurtured now by
requited love,
the once wounded hearts of two lives beat
in unison,

thriving within the rhythm of one
mated heartbeat.

Santha Rama Rau reveal about the attitude of the British toward the
native opulations they ruled?

2) Why do the think the British felt and behaved the way they did?

3) Have you seen a similar attitude in anyone you know?

4) Explain and tell what can be done to eliminate these attitudes.
