if its in a book, it means there is a foot note at the bottom of the page explaing the word the it is next to, for example. ''I love pugs*''



*breed of dog with squashed in face. hahaha

that is an asterisk mark. but in yahoo any filthy words spelling is marked by the asteric mark corresponding to the number of letters that particular word has
