Books & Authors - June 2006

I want something that will list ALL titles written by a writer, not just what is listed in the book. Usually that is only the books written under that specific publisher.

The veils of time grow thinner
with the passing years,

I posted this question earlier. I know Wicca is not fake, I'm simply asking for stories that deal with Wicca and witchcraft that are made up, such as the Sweep series by Cate Tiernan and Circle of Three by Isobel Bird. I wanted to clear this up. I want to read something fun, that's all! Besides, I am Wiccan and I know the difference b/w fake and real.

If you're extremely patient (and well read), then you can list them for me, as well.

What I mean by books that you have read is books that you have read in their entirety- from cover to cover (not including superfluous information, like publish dates, copyrights, and tables of contents). I just mean the whole book- the story itself, or the text itself.

If you don't know the number, please just estimate the number of books you've read before.

Also, if you don't mind my asking, please include your age.

i have the entire first edition collection of the wizard of oz books....there's like nine or ten of them in the collection. the dates range from like 1895 to like 1916 i think. they're in great condition too. i would never sell them or anything, my parents said they're worth a ton of money. is this true? also, a few of the books were signed in the front by my great grandfathers parents as a gift to him. would that make them worth more? if you're an appraiser, or have any special knowledge on this stuff, i'd especially like your opinion.

It was a sunny day as Jamie Wiltmire stared out the window of her brother's car. Both had been pretty quiet. It was hard for both of them. I've read the majority of the popular fantasy novels for people my age, plus, I'm trying to help a fantasy loving 5th grader find some books, and I'm running out of titles. Just so you know, I've read most books by Garth Nix, Scott Westerfeld, Jenny Nimmo, Elizabeth Kay, Mary Hoffman, C.S. Lewis and J.K. Rowling of course, all of the Redwall books, and the Wind on Fire Trilogy...The City of Ember and all those books, well, I'll just see what you come up with okay?

Most publishers I contact want you to already be a published author before they are interested, thus the proverbial "catch 22" of what comes first. I am loath to try vanity publishers as once something sounds too good to be true, it usually (in my case, invariably is too good to be true by experience).
