I want something that will list ALL titles written by a writer, not just what is listed in the book. Usually that is only the books written under that specific publisher.

I'm thinking the author's website is your best bet. The only other place might be a fan club website for that author.

For a children's book, you want the Children's Writer's & Illustrator's Market. The market out there is very tough, particularly for children's fiction. It's actually easier for adult fiction since there are more publishers. After you have submitted your children's book, start up on your adult fiction. You'll want WRITER'S MARKET for that. You can check the guidelines for specific publishers. Keep in mind that NYC wants formula books. Their marketing departments have final say on what gets accepted. The small publishers (still royalty paying) just want really good books. A few of them have settled into formulas, but not many. If you are writing romance, I've heard (Publisher's Weekly) that the cowboy romance is now dead and romantic suspense is now the thing. The small publishers will also look at well written science fiction romance and paranormal romance. If your book is cross genre (mystery and science fiction, for instance), you are better off looking at the small publishers. The big boys wouldn't know how to market it.

Try going to the authors website. Usually there is a link for a list of the books. blingo.com or google.com to find the web site.

It depends who the author is. For example, my favorite author is Nicolas Sparks. I went to google, typed in his name, and his website popped up. On his website, under novels, was a list of all the books he'd ever written.

Below is an example...

Try going to Wikipedia or something. The library might also be a good place to start.
