Well, anywhere from $4 (which works just fine) to hundreds (for all the bells and whistles).
My favorite places to shop for bibles:
Costco
Berean Book store
Online like christianbooks.com

Costco/Sams club usually carries them, like a good men's or women's study bible, with helpful commentary, for about $25 to $35.

Studying the Bible is wonderful. I will pray that your eyes and ears are opened to the truth of the scriptures.

Hope that helps!
Bobby

some places have them for free but know one is sure of the most popular price is because you have the king james version which is a lot harder to understand and also you have the new international version which is easier then the king james version.then there is one for the little kids that is the easiest to understand.hope you get one soon they are really great to read. you go to any book store... or christian book store you can get a bible for anywhere from $5 dollars to $100 dollars. It all depends on how big it is (large print or small), If is paper back leather bound or hard cover, and mostly how many supplimental study materials are in it.

if you've never read the bible before... may I recommend.... the New King James Version. It is in modern english but stays very true to the orriginal text

Here is a link for amazon.com :D for a bible that i highly recommend :D You can choose if you'd rather have it in hard cover or what have you and if you buy it slightly used you'll save a good chunk of money :D

It's all in where you go to buy them. I have actually gone to one of the everything is a dollar store and bought one for $1.00 and at Walmart, you can find some for under $10.00. You may can go to a good bible based church and your area and simply get one for free! We as Christian are always eager to share the word of God!

If you want one with just the text (in whatever translation: King James, NIV, NRSV, etc) it would probably be about $15-20 in a Christian bookstore. A more elaborate version with historical references, crossreferencing, archeological info, etc etc would cost more.

But the basic text is all you need.

There are also places that will give them out for free, especially New Testaments. You can also talk to a pastor at a local church, he or she will likely lend you one or give you one outright if you ask.

Good luck with your search!

I know you could get a really nice leather one with a concordance in it (it explains the passages of a bible) for under $40. I suggest it only if you will actually read it.

Any good church would give you one for free if you asked for it. The Gideons give them away as well. If you wanted to buy one, they would range from $5 to $60 depending on what type you want and how fancy the cover is.

If you call this toll free number, they will send you a free King James Bible: 1-800-408-4343. You don't pay for shipping, either.

You can get them for free from some places, but each sect has their own differnt version of the bible, so you have to know which version you want first.

You can get one free with a hotel room, or steal one from a church. That's what I always did.

More seriously, you could probably get one for aroun $10 at any store.
