PS: DONT TAKE THE BOOK TOO SERIOUSLY JUST TAKE IT AS ENTERTAINMENT AND NOT A "MORAL" LESSON..

I don't know if he believes any of the controversial aspects of his own writing, however, there are those who do. I think that the book was amazing! I picked it up at 8:00 one night and finished it at about 6:20 the next night sitting in the movie theater 10 minutes before I saw the movie. Dan Brown is a genius. His art of writing is true blessing.

I believe the book was excellent and yes he had to do a lot of research to come up with this book.Today, organized Religion is condemning it and trying to discount it, but there is much that is true in this book. May I suggest a good book that will further enlighten you! Blood Line of the Holy Grail by Laurence Gardner is excellent and his genealogy charts are great. Just studying the charts will prove that what is in the Code is correct. He also wrote another book called the Magdalene Legacy and you will get the connection between Jesus and Mary Magdalene, the TRUE STORY, not the fabrication that has been put out for 2000 years! My favorite book is when he enters into the church with many different symbols

It is going in this order: a million.Angels and Demons (Pocket Books, 2000) 2. The Da Vinci Code (Doubleday team, 2003) 3. The lost image (Doubleday, 2009) this is the order wherein the series become printed. you could examine The Da Vinci Code beforehand Angels and Demons - it does not particularly count variety in what order those 2 are examine.

It is a great work of fiction. Dan Brown has been very clever. He mixes some fact such as the artwork's locations etc with a great deal of theory and other things that are simple made up. His wife apparently does some research for him. I'm an art historian and it niggles me a little that he exaggerates the facts but on the other hand if his book gets people into art galleries and churches etc, looking at the works, then that's not a bad thing.

I thought it was a very good book because it keeps you interested until the very end. Well, clearly, Dan Brown researched all of that stuff, but now he's on trial because some other author says that he plagiarized the entire contents of his book. My favorite part was at the very beginning when they were at the Louvre, trying to escape. The soap thing was classic.

I loved the book - it was fast-moving and kept you guessing til the end. I finished it in 2 days because I couldn't put it down. Loved all the research and facts he put into the book - love his style of writing. Angels and Demons was even better!!! Don't really have a favorite part - just thought the book as a whole was brilliant!

I loved it. The best part of the book was how it made you think. I believe we should always question what we have been told. A child of Jesus and Mary Magdeline? Facinating stuff! And how do you know the book is gay if you never read it?

Mary magdaline (spelling) being part of the last supper? Is that true but anyways I think the book is false too. I hate to talk about the bible though it's very controversial

I like the climax where the second cipher thing is solved by langdon, and he throws it in the air and breaks it. I liked Silas, since it wasn't his fault he ended up like he did, and was used by "The Teacher". All the facts were either made up, or not any new research that grail researchers didn't already know.

The book is just an amazing thrill ride, better than the fastest roller coaster. Can't name a "favorite part" though it was all so good!!
