I'm part american indian (Navajo to be precise which fed my interest)and was curious of where we came from(because I've seen people on here dicussing the matter), so i did some research and found this piece of research and want to know if it is true. Here is the piece

"We have recently been informed of DNA results of the original native peoples of Vancouver Island – the Salish people. The principal report on which I rely is that of Professor Mariana Fernandez Cobo in ‘The American Journal of Physical Anthropology’ 2002. She and her colleague’s analysed urine of the Salish Indians, the Navajo; the Guarani of the Amazon and of mainland Japan. The DNA of all four, the entire sequence CAGTTAGA is absolutely identical. This would be a coincidence of 65,536 to one. The Salish, Navajo and Guarani studied in the report can only be Japanese."

"• The Navajo have both Japanese (Professor Cobo) and Chinese (Professor Novick) DNA."
I've heard 1421 is wrong, but this is another source.

My friend is doing a duet pantomime scene and in it and it is very 17th century French farce. Putting on huge dresses and corsettes etc. Hilarity hopefully. She is allowed to use background music for the scene and she needs a piece from the period and setting that has no words in it. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Theists have an easy way of answering the problem of free will by saying they just "have it" because a god gave it to them.
How is free will explained scientifically to an atheist who also believes in free will?
From what i've gathered everything is part of a determistic system. Even human thought. However an illusion of free will is experienced due to the generation of infinite behaviour from the interaction of finite-deterministic set of rules and parameters. Thus the unpredictability of the emerging behaviour from deterministic processes leads to a perception of free will, even though free will as an ontological entity does not exist.
I've heard things such as quantam physics being nondeterministic but I don't see how this applies to human though and how the will is somehow "free" from the laws of physics.
How do you view free will given the above?
I admit I have very limited knowledge on the subject and will reevaluate my opinion if given a more convincing argument against it

Im living in Tampa right now and this city has proven to be a very poor city for design jobs. I would really like to move to a place like Chicago but im still new on my own and don't have the money for a huge move. So are there any decent alternatives within say a 3 state radius of FL?

Innocence is defined in many ways. Being a virgin is very common clause to be called innocent.

But many people lose innocence in a score of other ways. Death, abuse, depression, hurt, deception, etc etc

Can innocence and a pure soul and heart be.... rejuvenated? so to speak
