check around. see if there's an acting school or some classes nearby. trying getting ur parents to take u to plays and musicals. If you cant do that, just watch some. try to figure out: How does this person make me believe the story? How does he make me not belive the story? etc. Figure out wat works and wat doesnt. oh, and remeber: Actors are storytellers. So try telling stories, especially to little kids. U can tell when they actually believe it. Good luck!

You can only be an actor with proffesional training. Everyone needs to start small. Speaking is not the only thing involved with acting. The first step is to choose whether you would like stage acting or film-type acting. Stage acting requires big movements, and film acting is based on the details (when you raise your eyebrows, blink, open you mouth, etc.). No matter which path you choose, you should still have some stage experience first. Acting in a high school play would help with that. If there is a drama school nearby, go to that. If you work hard and recieve proffesional help and honest advice, an oppurtunity to act will find you naturally. If you've got loads of money and don't really care about whether you're good at acting or not, join a talent agency. They're good for experience, put won't get you anywhere in the world of acting. Good luck.

Sad in sadistic is very sad. No clue what an agent is. You have a big problem in a little town. You are going to have to do all the speech and drama stuff there is to do at school, and if you are near enough to a larger town where there is an acting school, go and take a class on Sat;s When you graduate, you can move to Dallas where there are a lot of acting opportunities.

i wanna be a full time actress too. you have a great advantage because you're still young. i think that you should enroll yourself in an acting school first-not just to learn, but also to have a further knowledge about connections and other things as well. i have heard that stella adler school for acting in New york is great.. mark ruffalo had been there as well... and someday i am planning to enroll myself there too. take care of your studies for now and do first what you have to do but don't give up on your dreams.
