Are you sure boredom is what you're really feeling?
With so much to do and learn and experience from life, from reading good books to writing your own book, from mountain climbing to taking up photography to taking up new classes to learn new viewpoints and perspectives in life, from trying out for a role in a local play to helping the needy ... there are so many wonder life experiences waiting for you.
Is it possible that you may be feeling depression and this leads to you thinking you are bored? Sometimes depression takes on the characteristics of boredom and depression often stifles motivation, often hinders the desire to get up, get out and go do things. The positive thing here is that most people can quickly pull out of depression by filling their life with new experiences and by not dwelling on past errors.
Try doing something new, something you've never done before but have always wanted to do. I really think this will help.

Well I believe the greatest and best Christmas present in the world ever..is when you've discovered your true passion and reason for existence in life!
If you have not gotten to that point find some areas of interest in one, two, or three or more areas in your life. And stay committed to the duties and responsibilities that are part of your life now.
Also reexamine the types of foods you are eating and change it to a healthier diet. And read some good books, or watch some funny movies. They say laughter is good medicine for the soul.
Also confide in someone you trust, or if you are a believer than in God. But a human friend is God with you here on earth to help you.
Good luck and God bless you.
I felt like you did when I was 12 years old but now I am past 50!
Edit.. And I do agree that getting your mind off of yourself and your problems and helping someone else is a great diversion and perhaps even cure.

To answer your question, yes i get bored with life, but who doesn't. I know how you feel cuz i've felt that way before. What helped me keep busy or just to do something was just to write what ever is on my mind that way i feel relieved of what i was feeling. Just spend more time with your friends as much as possible because they are always a big help. I wish there was more i could say but i don't really know what else to say except.... Hopefully things turn out for the better, and don't let these kind of things get you down.

Think of your boredom as a tremendous springboard into
creative energy...something that will act as a catalyst
to initiate new and exciting things to explore. Get outside
yourself and see if you can bring some fun to someone
who needs it more than you. Sharing in this way is it's
own great reward...you'll feel wonderful and it will open up
a whole new world where you won't have any time to
be bored. Always reinvent yourself when things become
stagnent...only way to grow.

Volunteer to work with people who are less fortunate then yourself. Sometimes we need to be grateful for what we have to fully appreciate life. Being bored is a sign of self indulgence and an unchallenged mind

Usualy phases like that come and go.
Try not do things that would foster such a feeling. For example, do NOT listen to the band The Cure. (Just as one key example, haha.)

i feel the same... i feel boxed in in what I'm doing right now, then in the mornings I have a HUGE loss of appetite & throw it up too... then at school, all the girls are so different from me, and all the guys are such posers... then my teacher is a complete jerk & when i get home I'm the complete black sheep of the house-
but, to make myself feel "worthy", I play music... and feel like I'm the best musician in the world :)
do that, it reall works ;)

There is plenty you could be doing; you just don't "feel" like it. Sounds like menopause or depression. I think if you got on medication, you'd feel more like existing.

What you're describing isn't boredom. Sounds to me like you're depressed.
You should see you doctor about this.
