Not Fair!

Can you smile and cry
At the very same time?
Can you forget about someone
But always have them in mind?
Can you frown and laugh
And not feel outta place?
Can you hate someone
But their memory you can’t replace?
Can you love and hate
And know you feel true?
Can you love someone
And can you hate them too?
Can you hurt and want to laugh?
Can you be happy and cry?
Can you say “I love you too”
And know it’s not a lie?
If not, why do I hate your hurt?
But still love you all the same?
And why I cringe when I hear your voice
Or when someone calls your name?
You play me round unfairly
You make my heart hurt and ache,
But why when I don’t hear from you
Does my heart hurt and break?

I am looking for spoken word, or slam, or just poetry that exemplifies the struggles of the Afro latino, when they discover rasicm in their former country and endure it at a different stance when they migrate to the US. and Or African Poetry that speaks about racism against africans amongst black americans, especially during the great migration in the 60's and 70's

I am making a board game based on the book to kill a mocking bird by harper lee and i need help on some cards. They are cards like in monopoly where you can be either rewarded with money or sent to jail or something. Ex: Find a penny in the knot-hole-move ahead two spaces. They could also be miss a turns or something but no money is used in this game. Any suggestions?

I'd like it to be from the book, but any from the movie would be okay too. And preferably a dialogue, like between two or m ore people, but whatever.

The thought just struck me but do you think Sauron from middle-earth was based on a dictator in the 1940s.. I mean J.R.R.Tolkien did fight in WWII. And if so, who is he more alike... cause i am stuck in between hitler and stalin.

I'm not really well-informed on what communism is, and what it means. But everywhere I read about it, it describes communism and makes it sound like a wonderful thing.

If it's so wonderful, Why have former presidents and politicians think it was horrible, and citizens had witch hunts and communists were prosecuted, and it was a horrible thing to be considered a communist? Why was it such a controversial thing? Help, I'm missing something here.

I ask this question because I see far too many people just lash out after incomplete observation and data gathering.

Let me survey how many people are honestly more feeling than thinking oriented. If you are more thinking-oriented, I am interested in your thoughts regarding why there are very few well-seasoned minds.
