After Henry VIII died, his son was king Edward the VIth, then when HE died, the throne should have gone to Queen Mary I, which it did after 9 days.

For those 9 days, though, Mary's cousin was queen, why is she referred in the history books as "Lady"? If there should ever be a queen in her own right named Jane, would she be styled Queen Jane II??

currently im searching about my greatgrandparents. its during d 18 century. he's a bugis living in singapore. he married my greatgrandmother. ive been looking for his history. he work wit sultan abu bakar before as his right person. his name is 'chik'. he got married wit fatimah, a singaporean living at bedok, singapore. fatimah is the youngest daughter of Haji Salam. I need historical details for a novel and no animals will be harmed in the process of writing!

Were animal guts actually used for the strings of musical instruments...?

What was the process used to prepare them?

I don't even want my characters to deliberately kill a cat even if it's only fiction, but my editor won't accept it if the scientific details are wrong. Would roadkill work...?

I've read they were also used for tennis rackets. would that really work...? How strong would cat guts be?

Does anybody still do this today?
