I didn't follow my heart when I found a true love. Since I already had a stable relationship, I didn't want to leave it. Now I dream of the lovely kiss I shared with my true love (one which my friends even commented on at the time). I have now gotten a divorce because I came to realize that this was not the life I want and need. Why didn't I follow my heart?

I don't have any regrets and that is truthful I have learned to accept things, much as I have hated some of those things at times. That does not mean I condone all things in my past, but our past is something that we all have to live with, if we can move on it is better. Finding the right way to do that and what to do with that is a good thing not bad.

Being quick to jump the gun PCSing from FT Stewart, GA to Germany. I loved living in Europe, don't get me wrong, but I think the unit I got stuck with for the last 4 years, permanetly damaged me physically, mentally, and emotionally that I fear that I will never be the same optimistic person again...and they had a major influence of me getting out of the military after 10 years.

I regret not going into the Navy back in 1993. I should have done it but I decided to stay home.

Not buying a house when we PCS'd to Milton, FL from Seattle. Moving from the South is one of my regrets. We could have been in a better position financially.

Nothing do I regret.
Its better to forsee a disaster before it happens.I am an amateur visionary and an eternal optimist. So I regret nothing.
But its sad to see people being pessimistic like the guy who said he regretted to have been born. He's flipped.
Do you regret anything?Bye

My biggest regret is having sex at such an early age with all the wrong people.

listenting to my parents and pursuing some bullsh_t degree, which I wasn't really into and ended up dropping out of university altogether.
I should have gone to art school - which was my real passion (I was accepted at one of North America's best - but my folks thought it was a waste of time and that 'artists starve') - ironically, that how I make my leaving - still, 20+years later but I regret the missed opportunity to hone my craft.

I would have to say that my biggest mistake was listening to my parents about what career path to take; while they meant well, I should have done what was in my heart, and not what they thought was "good" for me.
