Let's say you were in a tornado and you survived then you would have been subjected to only a few minutes of the tornado devastation because it is a short lived phenomenon.Therefore you could be thirsty from shock but not dehydrated which is propably what you meant.So no need to drink bacteria filled toilet water unless you were a dog.

If I was in a tornado I probably wouldn't shiv a get about being thirsty.
You really never know what you'll do when you're desperate until it happens. I imagine the people who experience eating human flesh in the Andes never thought they'd be doing that....but it happened.
When people are thirsty they have a tendancy to become incoherent and thus, out of their minds.
