Her friends ( a cat and whatnot ) were all too busy to help her. She asked if one of them could run the wheat to the mill etc etc etc. But when the bread was done they all wanted some. Its an aesops fable I believe but not positive.

I have been looking every where in the internet but I can't find it. I am looking for a statue of a Fairy that my husband gave me back in 2003 but then he broke it cause he got mad with me. I went back to the store where he bought it but they didn't have it. The staue of the fairy was made of ceramic she was sitting down and touching her toes she was also wearing a thong and the statue was painted green no other colors added. I would really appreciate it if you guys helped me find it or if you gave me some online address where I may find or. Or maybe one of you guys has the fairy that I am looking for and you might want to sell it to me. This fairy statue means a lot to me. Please Help

My daughter's previous ballet teacher told her that a "classical" bun for ballerina is with front centre parting, bun is to be tied not higher than the ear-level. But when my daughter told that to her New teacher , she was not agreeable to that!

I think I usually go for the characters, but obviously the two overlap and are equally important. But I often find it hard to finish a book if I can't relate or admire or be intrigued by the characters.

What about you?

I think I would. Especially if I were automatically like this when I was born, and I've never been able to see or hear the beauties of life. Can you imagine that? Scary. (Yes, I know it's also called sensery deprivation, but that can be ended, but this can't..)

Assuming you believe in life after death, All the life after death literature I have read long ago used to say bad people went to a bad place ie; some type of lower plane/ Hell but now the popular thing to say such as in " Conversations with God " is that bad people are reincarnated straight away. What do you think? Serious answers please.

When i was a wee nipper in junior school, about 1987ish i remember i used to read loads of science fiction books, and one of the books i read involved a girl (i think) who visits a strange planet and there where lots of flying saucers disguised as hats. Now i know after reading this question you'll all probably think I’m insane but I’ve been adamant that this book exists, please someone prove my right, and I’d be over the moon if you could get me a title and an author for this book.

Thanks.

As an British born Ghanian I have always been proud of my roots. You may have seen a previous question which asked I asked 'Does Charity really help', but now I have a follow up question.
After Comic Reflief I started to reflect on Weston Societies preception of Africa. I think when most people think of Africa they think, refugees, war, AIDS, extreme poverty and ...Safari Parks. But there is so much more to Africa than these images. Africa is not one big country it is a nation which is full of culture and rich traditions. But I feel that the beauty of Africa is very much over looked. I would be ignorant if I made excuses, but yes its true, that Africa does have a lot of problems.
So what I really wanted to ask was, do people think that Africa
is a terrible place to live and be , or are the media to blame so the negative image of Africa which is shown. Are African perpetuating their own problems, or is the media out to make money out of the plight
